The bulging(膨胀，突出的部分) eyes of frogs can see in almost any direction.
Some frogs have a 3rd eyelid (眼睑)(called a nictating membrane - like dogs) which may be drawn across the eye to protect it, but allowing some partial sight:
Frogs generally move near to a light source, but can't distinguish between light and a white solid (try this).
This brings us to the question of why frogs just love reading Sherlock Holmes(福尔摩斯)?
Because they really enjoy a good croak and dagger.
